Stefan and Craig: Slightly Live
These guys are a comedy duo to keep your eye on.
They've just finished taping a pilot episode of their new show, Stefan and Craig: Slightly Live, which they can add to their increasingly-impressive portfolio.
They've done a breakfast radio show and an afternoon show on SYN radio station, fringe festival shows called The Magical World of Patrick the Servant and Sherlock the Vampire Slayer, a series on channel 31 called Our Melbourne, as well as dozens of podcasts and videos and now Iím talking to them as they sit in the studios of Austereo (where they are currently working) about their TV pilot.
The show will be a combination of material taped in front of a live audience and pre-recorded segments.
They likened the show to Chaser's War on Everything but with one key difference: they aren't out to target anyone. They just want to have fun with the show.
Admittedly it may sometimes seem a little immature, but it's worth watching the boys try to out-crawl one of Melbourne's slowest trams.
"It's a little bit like Playschool actually," Craig joked about the show.
I'm still trying to figure out who's meant to enjoy it more- them or the audience.
But don't let their banter fool you, these boys are workers. They're consistently filming, recording and creating new material.
Thanks to their oversized imaginations and fantastic comedic timing, they continue to churn out fresh ideas.
Unfortunately we might not be able to see their full length show until September but you can catch their radio clips on their facebook site as well as updates on what quirky and crazy stunts they're up to.
Keep on the lookout for Stefan and Craig. After Chanel 31, they're setting their sights on Foxtel.
They're only going to get bigger from here.
